The customizability is possible because all the features in Velosity are modular and can be enabled or disabled - during the onboarding or later as the needs of your business change.

Basic Quote (Onboarding 1-2 weeks)

This setup is the simplest and is best for build-to-order companies doing work that is not repeatable, i.e. Machine Shops. These kinds of companies can get the benefit of managing Sales Quotes and Sales Orders in Velosity - instead of Excel. The onboarding requires setup of:

• Quote & Order template customization
• Tasks

Basic Quote

Basic Quote + Scheduling (Onboarding 1-2 weeks)

This setup adds Production Scheduling to the option described above. The onboarding effort is the same as the option described above.

Basic Quote + Scheduling

Smart Quote (Onboarding 2-4 weeks)

This setup includes Smart Quote. Smart Quote is intended for build-to-order companies making repeatable (yet complex) products. The onboarding is more significant than Basic Quote and requires setup of:

• Quote & Order template customization
• Items
• Tasks (including Time and Cost models)
• Products
• Pages
• Attributes
• Rules
• Item Mapping (if required)

Smart Quote + Scheduling (Onboarding 2-4 weeks)

This setup adds Production Scheduling to the Smart Quote option described above. The onboarding effort is nearly the same.

This setup adds Inventory management to the Smart Quote option described above. The onboarding requires additional work to get the Inventory locations and Inventory setup (via import).
